Job Title: Design Manager - MEP

Location: Chennai (Full-time on-site)

Role Overview:

Responsible for overseeing the entire design lifecycle for MEP systems across

9 elevated stations. This role ensures that all engineering designs for HVAC,

Electrification, and Firefighting are integrated, compliant with Employer's

requirements, and delivered on schedule

Core Responsibility

Technical Design Execution: Assists in overseing planning and design activities

for E&M works, ensuring they are appropriate to the nature of the project .

Mechanical/Electrical Specialization: Leads the detailed design of specialized

MEP systems including HVAC, Firefighting, and Electrification .

Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Works to ensure integration across

mechanical and electrical disciplines with BIM and QA/QC requirements .

Progress Monitoring: Tracks design milestones and deliverables, assisting in

the preparation of progress reports for the Engineer .

Clash Resolution: Collaborates with the BIM team to identify and resolve

design conflicts in the virtual 3D environment.

Qualifications Needed

1. Educational Background

B.E. in Mechanical or B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering.

2. Professional Experience

Total Career Span: Minimum 8 years of total professional work experience .

Similar Experience: Minimum 4 years specifically in design roles for large-scale

E&M construction projects .

Project Nature: Experience in large-scale infrastructure involving complex E&M

systems.

3. Key Competencies

Expertise: Proven track record in E&M works including HVAC, firefighting, and

system-wide coordination .

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with design and project management tools

like PMIS and BIM .

Communication: Strong communication skills in English for technical

documentation and team coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
