Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer/Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer/Analyst to support, customize, and improve our Business Central environment. This role combines technical development, system analysis, process improvement, and user support. The ideal candidate understands both the technical side of Business Central and the business processes it supports, including accounting, finance, inventory, purchasing, sales, reporting, and operations.

You will work closely with internal teams to identify system needs, develop solutions, troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, and ensure Business Central is being used effectively across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
• Design and modify extensions using AL language and Visual Studio Code.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements within Business Central.
• Gather requirements from accounting, finance, operations, sales, purchasing, and management teams.
• Configure Business Central modules, workflows, permissions, build reports, and using RDLC, and user settings.
• Troubleshoot system issues, data errors, integrations, and user support requests.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and financial/operational analytics.
• Support integrations between Business Central and third-party applications.
• Assist with upgrades, testing, documentation, and deployment of system changes.
• Train end users and create user guides or process documentation.
• Ensure solutions follow best practices for security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Knowledge of AL programming, extensions, APIs, events, and web services.
• Strong understanding of business processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, inventory, sales orders, and financial reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with Business Central configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Microsoft 365 is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, data migration, integrations, or reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with both technical and non-technical users.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of experience working with Business Central.
• Experience supporting accounting or finance teams.
• Experience with system implementation, upgrades, or ERP migrations.
• Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Business Central are a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
