Dynamics 365 Data Migration Lead (F&O + CE) – Contract

Role Overview

Seeking a senior Dynamics 365 Data Migration Lead to lead end-to-end migration activities for a complex enterprise D365 implementation. This role requires strong experience with both D365 F&O and D365 CE along with hands-on leadership of large-scale ERP/CRM data migration efforts.

The ideal candidate has led multiple enterprise D365 migration programs, managed mock conversions and cutovers, and worked closely with business, functional, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead D365 F&O and CE data migration strategy and execution
• Manage data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities
• Coordinate migration cycles across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production
• Lead mock conversions, reconciliations, and cutover activities
• Work with business and functional teams to validate migrated data
• Manage migration defects, risks, and issue resolution
• Support testing cycles and go-live readiness
• Coordinate with integration, reporting, and infrastructure teams
• Provide migration status reporting and governance updates

Required Experience

• 10+ years of data migration leadership experience
• Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience across:
• D365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
• D365 Customer Engagement (CE/CRM)
• Experience leading enterprise ERP/CRM migration programs
• Strong understanding of:
• Master data
• Transactional data
• Data governance
• Reconciliation processes
• Cutover planning
• Experience with:
• DMF / DIXF
• Azure Data Factory
• SQL
• Excel-based migration frameworks
• Data validation and reconciliation
• Experience leading multiple mock conversion cycles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

• Global or multi-country D365 deployment experience
• Construction, industrial, or manufacturing industry experience
• Experience with Power Platform and Dataverse
• PMP or Microsoft certifications

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
