E-Commerce Accountant (Amazon & Online Marketplaces)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and entries for e-commerce transactions.
• Reconcile sales, payments, commissions, and deductions from platforms like Amazon, Noon, and Shopify.
• Prepare monthly sales and expense reports, highlighting marketplace fees, VAT, and payment cycles.
• Coordinate with the finance and operations teams for invoice submissions, POs, and payment follow-ups.
• Assist in reviewing Amazon Vendor Central / Seller Central reports and ensuring accounting accuracy.
• Support the external auditor with data and documentation.
• Maintain clear records of returns, chargebacks, and disputes.
• Update inventory and cost records in coordination with the operations team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 0–1 year of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Basic understanding of Amazon, Noon, or Shopify platforms preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and basic accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Good communication skills in English.
