E-Commerce Executive (Retail)

Doha, Qatar

1. Job Purpose

1.1. Supervise and drive overall e-commerce business under assigned categories, ensuring operational efficiency and sales growth.
1.2. Understand platform modules, customer behavior, and marketplace dynamics to identify opportunities and propose strategies to increase sales.
1.3. Act as the single point of contact with aggregators and external partners to ensure smooth coordination and timely execution of business objectives.
1.4. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Picking, Support, and Marketing, to resolve day-to-day operational issues and optimize processes.
1.5. Monitor and improve the e-commerce menu, product offerings, and inventory, ensuring the platform remains competitive and aligned with customer expectations.
1.6. Conduct timely performance reviews, identify gaps, and implement action plans to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.

2. Minimum Qualifications / Education / Experience / Training / Knowledge

2.1. Bachelor’s degree in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience of at least 3 years in e-commerce operations.
2.2. Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, marketplace platforms, order management, and logistics coordination.
2.3. Proven experience in analyzing sales data, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing actionable strategies.
2.4. Familiarity with monitoring operational KPIs, managing product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory optimization.
2.5. Proficient in MS Office, analytics tools, and CRM platforms.
2.6. Excellent command of English; knowledge of Hindi and Arabic is an advantage.
2.7. Valid GCC driving license is preferred.

3. Communication and Working Relationships

3.1. Report to immediate supervisor regarding all operational and performance aspects.
3.2. Liaise with internal teams, aggregators, customers, vendors, and other external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

4. Key Responsibilities

4.1. Supervise day-to-day e-commerce operations, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
4.2. Work closely with the Picking team to resolve operational issues and ensure timely order fulfillment.
4.3. Act as the main point of contact for aggregators and online platforms, coordinating communication and resolving escalations.
4.4. Conduct regular performance reviews to monitor operational KPIs, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions.
4.5. Continuously update and optimize product menus, offerings, and online content to enhance visibility and sales.
4.6. Collaborate with support teams to execute tasks, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth workflow.
4.7. Analyze data from platforms and analytics tools to assess performance, identify trends, and propose actionable improvements.
4.8. Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales, conversion rates, and average order value.
4.9. Prepare and submit regular reports on e-commerce performance, KPIs, and progress towards goals.

5. Operating Environment

5.1. Job location: Qatar, with occasional travel as required.
5.2. The role may require working beyond office hours and during holidays when necessary.
5.3. The job holder must have the physical and mental resilience to handle a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
