About the Role
Hawaii Estate & Jewelry Buyers is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Specialist to manage and grow our online sales operations.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role primarily focused on eBay and online sales, with some additional responsibility for supporting inventory and vendor workflows. This role is focused on turning inventory into revenue through strong product photography, accurate listings, and consistent follow-through of e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce (Primary Focus) - Own item journey from item intake until sold

  • Photograph and edit in bulk, jewelry, watches, and luxury merchandise product photos
  • Create and manage listings on eBay and website platforms
  • Write accurate, detailed descriptions and optimize titles/pricing
  • Monitor store performance, buyer messages, and seller metrics
  • Manage order fulfillment, shipping, and returns
  • Improve underperforming listings and maintain listing quality
  • Keep physical items and item records sorted and organized through every stage
  • Accurately see items through post-sales processes such as recording selling costs and removal of items sold in internal inventory. Facilitate in-office sales for customers, record fees, remove listings.

Operations & Inventory (Secondary) - Expert on inventory items and system

  • Processing items from intake to processing, to sales (data entry, work orders, tracking vendor deadlines, etc.)
  • Assist with client orders and customer service if needed, generally help where you can
  • Coordinate with other staff to maintain accurate inventory records and physical sorting of items. Record and report financial information accurately. Communicate clearly and regularly with management on KPI’s and innovation.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently listing 30–40+ items per week
  • Strong e-commerce performance (communication, ratings, sell-through)
  • Taking ownership of the listing pipeline and improving results over time
  • Maintaining accurate, organized inventory and records with minimal errors
  • Working well with other departments to maintain accurate records and physical inventory

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with eBay or e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce (listing, shipping, etc).
  • Basic Product photography and basic photo editing (DSLR; Adobe Photoshop) in bulk
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to manage recurring KPI’s and ad-hoc projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Clear and professional written communication to customers and other staff
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to follow through without constant direction
  • Tech Savvy, able to learn and use online modern tools like Google Workspace

Preferred Experience

  • Jewelry, watches, luxury goods, or resale industry
  • Inventory systems and project management
  • POS retail experience (Square, Clover, etc).
  • High end clientele/luxury retail experience
  • Additional opportunities for experience in bookkeeping, marketing, and customer service

Work Environment

  • In-office role (merchandise must be handled, photographed, and managed onsite)
  • Mix of physical work (inventory, photography) and computer-based work (listings, communication)
  • Fast-paced, detail-oriented environment requiring accuracy and consistency

Compensation

  • Temp to hire. $60,000/yr based hourly first 90 days (evaluation period)
  • $70,000/yr salary base + commission eligibility if hired after evaluation period
  • High performers can earn $90,000–$100,000+ total compensation
  • Commission is shared and tied to completed online sales performance timelines (after return windows etc) and subject to waiting period
  • 13 set paid holidays, PTO, Medical available after evaluation period.
