E-commerce Inventory/Fulfillment Clerk

Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time E-commerce Inventory/Fulfillment Clerk to support daily inventory control and order fulfillment operations for online sales. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, receiving and organizing inventory , and supporting order fulfillment through various e-commerce and warehouse management systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and technically proficient in inventory and data management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records across inventory management and e-commerce systems.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent overselling, backorders, or stock discrepancies.
• Assist with price management and maintenance of customer pricelists, verifying accuracy.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory shipments.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Support order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing order shipments as needed.
• Update and maintain inventory tracking spreadsheets and system data.
• Generate and analyze inventory and fulfillment reports for management.
• Coordinate with operations and purchasing teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or e-commerce fulfillment preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and able to work onsite scheduled part-time onsite hours.
• Reliable transportation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas; pivot tables a plus).
• Experience working with inventory, ERP, or e-commerce systems.
• Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BigCommerce or similar e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with ShipStation or similar shipping/fulfillment software.
• Hands-on experience with GroovePacker or similar warehouse packing and barcode scanning systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 30–50 lbs.

Schedule

• Part-time hours (approximately 20–30 hours per week)
• Flexible schedule based on operational needs.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
