We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Marketplace Growth & Performance Optimization Specialist to audit, diagnose, and optimize our performance across major online marketplaces. This role is focused on identifying underperforming products, discoverability problems, and conversion issues to propose solutions and drive sustainable sales growth across popular E-commerce platforms such as Wayfair, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, and more.

Please note, this is not a basic listing or data-entry role. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working inside marketplace seller portals, understand marketplace SEO and ranking algorithms, and can analyze data to determine underperformance and create solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform deep audits of existing marketplace listings to identify issues affecting traffic, ranking, and conversion
  • Diagnose problems related to marketplace SEO, discoverability, category placement, attribute mapping, suppressed listings, and content compliance
  • Analyze traffic vs. conversion performance, sales velocity, and impression data to determine underperformance causes
  • Collaborate with internal team members to implement fixes and ongoing optimization strategies
  • Communicate with marketplace support teams and account representatives to resolve listing errors, suppression issues, and technical problems
  • Monitor and adapt to marketplace algorithm updates, content requirements, and SEO best practices
  • Optimize product titles, bullets, descriptions, attributes, backend keywords, and enhanced content to improve ranking and sales
  • Work directly within Wayfair Partner Home, Home Depot Seller Center, Overstock Supplier Oasis, Houzz, and related portals
  • Identify new marketplaces, product opportunities, and expansion strategies for future growth
  • Maintain detailed performance tracking and reporting using Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Other office-related tasks that may not be detailed here

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of E-commerce experience
  • Hands-on experience selling on at least ONE of the following marketplaces is REQUIRED (applications without this experience will not be considered):

Wayfair, Home Depot, Overstock, Bed Bath & Beyond, Houzz

  • Proven experience performing marketplace listing audits and performance optimization
  • Strong understanding of marketplace SEO, keyword indexing, catalog optimization, and conversion rate optimization
  • Ability to analyze data and clearly explain why a product is underperforming
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person office environment
  • Willing to assist with additional office-related tasks as needed
  • Familiarity with product feeds, PIM systems, or ERP tools
  • Background in home, bath, or furniture categories is a plus but not required
  • Experience with pricing analysis and competitive benchmarking

Candidates during interview must be able to clearly explain their step-by-step process for auditing a low-selling SKU on a marketplace and identifying why it is underperforming.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
