About the Role
Lab Supply/Exotic Animal Supply is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented E-Commerce Operations & Customer Experience Assistant to support our online sales channels and operations team.
You’ll help manage orders, customer inquiries, reporting, and operational support across multiple E-commerce platforms. Prior E-commerce experience is helpful but not required — we’re more interested in strong computer skills, organization, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and support daily E-commerce orders across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and other platforms
- Provide professional customer service by responding to messages and resolving issues promptly
- Track operational metrics and maintain accurate reports using Microsoft Excel
- Monitor seller feedback, reviews, and Buy Box performance; open or escalate cases when needed
- Assist with inventory coordination, product ordering, and shipment tracking
- Organize and distribute shipping labels and assist with fulfillment coordination
- Help with packing orders during peak volume periods as needed
- Maintain detailed records of customer issues, resolutions, and open cases
- Learn and work within systems such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, Shopify, and ShipStation
- Support the team wherever needed — flexibility and teamwork are important in this role
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (any field)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Able to follow direction while also taking initiative
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work well with a variety of personalities
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with E-commerce platforms or online order processing
- Familiarity with inventory management or logistics
- Experience working in a dynamic or multi-channel environment
