As the E-Commerce Operations Manager, you will own the end-to-end operational performance of our online storefront and marketplace platforms. You will be the driving force behind smooth order fulfilment, inventory precision, marketplace optimisation, and process improvements. This role demands exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving challenges in a premium fashion environment.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify & Website Management
- Manage daily updates to product listings, promotional banners, and collections to ensure freshness and relevance.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to enhance user experience and optimise conversion rates.
- Support SEO initiatives by optimising product descriptions, keywords, metadata, and blog content.
Order Fulfilment & Logistics
- Oversee the complete lifecycle from order placement to delivery, including packaging, dispatch, returns, and exchanges.
- Coordinate with artisans, third-party logistics, and warehouse teams to meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor return workflows and track RTO cases actively to minimise loss.
Inventory & Catalogue Management
- Maintain accurate SKU-level inventory maps, ensuring alignment across website, warehouse, and marketplace inventories.
- Regularly analyse product velocity, managing replenishment and clearance strategies.
Marketplace & Omnichannel Operations
- Manage product uploads, pricing strategies, and overall presence on platforms like Nykaa, Myntra, and Ajio.
- Evaluate marketplace performance through analytics, recommending actionable improvements.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain detailed tracking sheets covering orders, returns, inventory turnover, revenue, and dispatch timelines.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process enhancements to reduce cancellations, RTO, and operational errors.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2 - 4 years of proven experience in e-commerce operations, preferably within fashion or premium brands.
- Hands-on expertise with Shopify and order management systems (Unicommerce, Vinculum preferred).
- Familiarity with courier and logistics platforms such as Delhivery or Shiprocket.
- Proficiency in data management tools, including Excel or Google Sheets dashboards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to fashion or luxury brand marketplaces like Nykaa, Myntra, or Ajio.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, digital cataloguing, and online merchandising.
- Experience working in hybrid or on-site team environments with a focus on accountability.
