Experience Level
- Total 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with at least 1+ year on e-commerce web or mobile applications.
- Prior experience testing inventory workflows, UI flows (browse, cart, checkout), and backend/API integrations in an e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for inventory, catalog, pricing, cart, and order flows across UI and backend services.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing for web and mobile e-commerce applications, including UI, REST APIs, and database validations.
- Validate inventory sync between frontend, backend, and third-party systems; verify stock updates, reservations, and overselling scenarios.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device UI testing to ensure consistent user experience.
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA or similar issue trackers, providing clear steps and evidence.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of QA experience with strong understanding of SDLC and STLC in agile teams.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of test automation using Selenium/WebDriver or similar tools (Cypress/Playwright is a plus).
- Good knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools and ability to validate JSON/XML responses.
- Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for inventory and order data validation.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions is a plus).
