Warehouse Operations Manager – Job Description

A Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of goods. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring that all operations align with company standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Plan and manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and effective stock control systems.
• Implement and enforce safety, security, and hygiene procedures to ensure a compliant and safe work environment.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth supply chain flow.
• Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and material handling to maximize efficiency.
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to ensure high morale and operational excellence.
• Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management of more than 5 years.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Unicommerce and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, and safety regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
