E-Commerce Website & Marketing Manager

We are a company based in Santa Fe Springs that is growing rapidly within pro audio, video, and lighting equipment distribution and online sales. We are an Authorized dealer for established name brands such as Yamaha, Shure, Sennheiser, ADJ, and hundreds of others. Our online sector has been expanding drastically and we are looking for a person who can grow with the company.

AVLGEAR is looking for an E-Commerce Website & Marketing Manager to manage our Shopify store based website and team. As an E-commerce website specialist, you are responsible for overseeing and developing SEO and marketing strategies for the company website to improve customer satisfaction and boost sales, as well as leading our team in the right direction.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Managerial Requirements: REQUIRED

  • Leadership & Team Management - Demonstrated success in leading an Ecommerce team of over 5 members for 4+ years, driving measurable results.
  • KPI Measurement - Skilled in assessing team performance through project and task KPIs, delivering constructive feedback for improvement and recognizing achievements.
  • Performance & Employee Development - Experienced in conducting quarterly performance reviews and creating tailored employee development plans.
  • Communication Skills - Strong communicator at addressing both professional and personal matters with the team effectively.
  • Decision Making & Accountability - Capable of making strategic executive decisions aligned with company goals and taking accountability for outcomes.
  • Adaptability - Thrives in dynamic environments, adapting seamlessly to challenges with minimal friction.

Shopify Technical Expertise: REQUIRED

  • Understand and Manipulate LIQUID CS - Can customizes Shopify themes for functionality and improvements in the front and back end.
  • Manage and Organize Large Catalogs - Has the ability to streamline product organization and catalog management (collections, tags, inventory, metafields, etc.)
  • User Interface Optimization - Enhances visual appeal to increase customer engagement and increase stickiness.
  • Speed and Data Management - Can boosts site performance, reduces load times and identify inefficiencies in the liquid or front end assets.
  • Website Structure and UI Flow - Improve website navigation & interaction, as well as accessibility for better a better user experience.
  • Page(s) Setup and Updates - Maintains accurate, updated site content
  • Application Management - Manages Shopify apps for functionality or improvements
  • Managing Integrations or Integrators - Ensures smooth third-party tool integrations

Analytics and Data Management
Understanding of ALL Google Workspaces: REQUIRED

  • GA4 / Analytics Understanding - Has the ability to Analyzes site traffic, user behavior, and use this data for improvements.
  • Merchant Center - Can Manage a large catalog on Google and other search engines.
  • Google Tag Manager - Has the ability to maintain and tracks events, manage tags efficiently and maintain tags throughout the entire website.
  • Google Trends & Google Reporting - Can identify premature market trends
  • Google Ads Console - Manages Google Ads campaigns, performance
  • Google Shop - Can Optimize product listings for Google shop and other Google sub-platforms.

Sales and Customer Growth: REQUIRED

  • Able to Conduct Product Research - Identify trends, customer preferences and new items in the market.
  • Order Management - Able to manage and maintain customer orders & relations, like refunds, customer service, or returns & more.
  • Know how to use tools like crawlers, traffic analytics, trends etc. - Analyzes web data for insights on product launches.
  • Ability to Create Insightful Blogs - Has the ability to drive traffic through engaging content such as; blogs, posts, imagery etc.
  • Utilize Backlinks and Affiliate links to drive traffic to items - Boosts traffic via strategic links & affiliate programs.
  • Introducing UI changes to improve Average Cart $ Value - Increases average order values and average items in order values.
  • Increasing Subscriber Count and using CRMs - Grows email lists, manage relationships and increase subscriber activity.
  • Introducing software for Automation - Streamlines operations with automation
  • Repricing tools - Adjusts prices dynamically for competitivenessResearch and implement SEO strategy

Marketing and Advertising: PREFFERED

  • Supply chain - Able to Manage inventory and supply chain.
  • Managing Marketing Budget & Determining Budget Allocation - Optimizes ad spend for ROI on Google and other marketplaces.
  • Managing 100+ PPC and AI Campaigns - Handles large-scale single paid campaigns.
  • Creating and Setting up Campaigns (All Campaign Types) - Builds diverse, effective ad campaigns for all product types.
  • Attribution, Evaluation on PPC, Pivoting - Analyzes PPC performance, adjusts strategies

Computer Language Skills: PREFFERED

  • SQL: HTML, JAVA, PYTHON - Enhances data queries, site customization, Etc.

Understanding of Social Media: PREFFERED

  • Branding - Build a consistent social media brand / identity
  • Marketing - Drive engagement via social ad and organic campaigns
  • Reporting - Tracks social media performance metrics & reports.
  • Budgeting - Allocates social media ad budget and spend.
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization) - Drives organic and ad traffic, improve ranking.
  • Content Creation (Graphics, Branding, Marketing Campaign Efforts) - Create or leads direction for product visuals and branding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
