Role Overview

The E-Foil Instructor is responsible for conducting safe, structured, and engaging e-foil sessions for guests, ensuring full compliance with local regulations, company SOPs, and safety standards. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong water skills, professionalism, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction & Guest Experience

• Conduct clear pre-session safety briefings and equipment demonstrations
• Instruct beginners and intermediate riders using Flyder’s training methodology
• Supervise participants during sessions and ensure adherence to speed limits and safety rules
• Deliver a calm, professional, and premium guest experience at all times

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all participants wear required safety equipment (helmet, life vest, etc.)
• Monitor water conditions (wind, waves, visibility) and suspend sessions if unsafe
• Maintain constant visual supervision of participants during operation
• Respond promptly and appropriately to falls, fatigue, or emergency situations
• Follow all Dubai Maritime Authority and local beach regulations

Equipment Handling

• Assist with preparation, launch, and recovery of e-foil equipment
• Perform basic daily checks on boards, batteries, and safety gear
• Report any damage, faults, or maintenance needs immediately

Operations & Teamwork

• Coordinate with shore staff using two-way radios
• Support smooth session scheduling and turnover
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operational area
• Represent Flyder professionally in uniform and conduct

Required Qualifications & SkillsMandatory

• Strong swimming ability and confidence in open water
• Previous experience in water sports (e.g. kitesurfing, wakeboarding, surfing, diving, jet ski, sailing, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Professional attitude and customer-service mindset

Preferred (Strong Advantage)

• Previous e-foil experience or certification
• Water sports instructor certification
• First Aid / CPR certification
• Lifeguard certification
• Experience working with tourists or in hospitality environments

Physical & Working Conditions

• Ability to work outdoors in sun, wind, and water conditions
• Ability to lift and handle water sports equipment

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
