E & I Technician

We are currently hiring an experienced E & I Technician for a 1-year Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation works, especially in cable termination and glanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cable termination and glanding for LV/MV systems and instrumentation cables
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems
• Work on electrical panels, junction boxes, and control panels
• Interpret and work as per electrical/instrumentation drawings and schematics
• Support commissioning and maintenance activities as per site requirements
• Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas safety standards and site procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for daily site activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an E & I Technician in Oil & Gas projects
• GCC experience is mandatory
• Strong experience in cable termination & glanding
• Good knowledge of electrical panels and control systems
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings (SLD, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, etc.)
• Familiar with Oil & Gas site standards and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or ITI in Electrical / Instrumentation
• Valid trade certificate is an advantage
