Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Consultant to guide and support the launch of our e-pharmacy platform. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth pharmaceutical expertise, compliance knowledge, and industry best practices to help us build a compliant, efficient, and customer-centric online pharmacy business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure the e-pharmacy complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards governing pharmaceutical sales and distribution (e.g., FDA, DEA, local pharmacy laws).

• Licensing & Documentation:

Assist in obtaining all necessary licenses and permits required for operating an online pharmacy.

• Medication Management:

Advise on proper storage, handling, and dispensing protocols for medications sold online to maintain safety and efficacy.

• Formulary Development:

Help develop and manage the e-pharmacy product catalog, including prescription drugs, OTC medicines, and health products.

• Workflow Design:

Design and review pharmacy operations workflows including prescription verification, order fulfillment, and delivery processes.

• Technology & Systems:

Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the e-pharmacy platform supports safe prescription validation, patient data security, and seamless pharmacist-patient interaction.

• Training & SOPs:

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training for pharmacy staff on best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Quality Assurance:

Monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care and customer service.

Customer Support:

Provide expert input for customer queries related to medications and prescriptions.

• Market Insight:

Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies in the e-pharmacy space.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist (B.Pharm/M.Pharm/Pharm.D) with valid registration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail/community/hospital pharmacy or pharmaceutical consultancy.
• Experience with e-pharmacy or digital healthcare platforms preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain management in pharmacy.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and e-prescription systems.
• Knowledge of patient data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
• Experience in training and process documentation.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
