E-Procurement Executive (GeM & KPPP)

About Us:
Sahyadri Scientific Innovations is a growing distribution company specializing in supplying high-quality scientific products to government departments, institutions, and enterprises. To strengthen our operations on the KPPP and Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform and ensure compliance with the National Public Procurement Policy (NPPP), we are looking for a skilled E-Procurement Executive (GeM & KPPP) along with quotation preparation, inside sales, to join our team.

Role Overview:
The GEM–NPPP Expert will oversee all procurement and sales activities on the GeM portal, ensuring full compliance with government policies. This role is critical for expanding our company’s presence in public procurement and maximizing opportunities through GeM.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage product listings, catalog updates, and bid participation on GeM.

· Ensure compliance with NPPP and other government procurement guidelines.

· Draft, review, and submit bids/tenders through the GeM portal.

· Monitor opportunities and respond to tenders/RFPs relevant to our distribution business.

· Coordinate with internal sales, supply chain, and vendor teams for smooth execution.

· Build relationships with government buyers, PSUs, and institutional clients via GeM.

· Prepare periodic reports on GeM sales, tenders, and procurement activities.

. Prior experience in quotation preparation, inside sales in chemical/lab supplies is an advantage.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

· B.com/M.com Graduate in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.

· Hands-on experience in handling GeM portal activities (seller/buyer side).

· Strong understanding of NPPP, e-tendering, and public procurement processes.

· Good communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.

· Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a distribution setup.

Preferred:

· Experience in a distribution, trading, or supply company dealing with government tenders.

· Knowledge of product categories commonly supplied through GeM.
