Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team who is 18+ years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves working with children in various developmental stages, implementing engaging lesson plans, and promoting positive social interactions among students.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster literacy education through reading activities, phonics, and storytelling.
• Incorporate math concepts into daily activities to enhance children's understanding of numbers and problem-solving.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good conduct.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's progress in various developmental areas and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning at home and address any concerns regarding their development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that promotes exploration and discovery.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting.
• Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
• Experience working with children who have special needs or behavioral challenges is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
