Early Childhood Associate Teacher

The Family Center of Washington County Early Childhood Program is a 5 STARS nonprofit child-led, nature influenced Reggio Emilia program. We are seeking a nurturing, creative professional dedicated to teaching young children. As our newest Early Childhood Associate Teacher, you will participate in all phases of planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate experiences for children as a co-teacher in our toddler classroom. Your role will include working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and providing education and support services to children with a variety of different needs. Desired Qualifications:

Early Childhood Associate Teacher candidates should have a:

• Northern Lights Level II Certificate or Child Development Associate (CDA) required.
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience teaching in an early childhood setting, including direct experience providing developmental or support services to children with disabilities or other needs and their families.
• Must pass a fingerprint and background check.
