The Overview Looking for a summer job that’s actually fun? We are searching for an enthusiastic, energetic Early Childhood Camp Leader to be the heartbeat of our Summer Camp! If you have a passion for working with kids and want an active, creative start to your day—leaving your summer afternoons entirely free—we’d love to meet you.

In this role, you will lead engaging activities, foster a safe and nurturing environment, and support the developmental growth of children in our vibrant, climate-controlled indoor playroom. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact while building your leadership and classroom management skills in a dynamic setting!

The Details

• Schedule: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
• Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn (11215)

What You'll Do

• Lead the Fun: Confidently organize and facilitate daily themed activities, educational games, and hands-on arts & crafts that promote creativity and early childhood development.
• Support the Routine: Smoothly guide campers through daily schedules, including snack times, free play, and transitions, using positive behavior management strategies.
• Keep it Safe: Actively supervise the play zones, maintaining a constant presence to ensure the total safety and well-being of every child. (Includes administering basic first aid and following safety protocols when necessary).
• Communicate: Engage effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a seamless and positive camp experience for everyone.

Who You Are

• Experienced: You have a background working with children (daycare, preschool, tutoring, or babysitting) and a solid understanding of early childhood development milestones.
• A Natural Leader: You possess strong classroom management skills and can implement inclusive teaching strategies, including familiarity with special education needs.
• High Energy & Passionate: You can easily keep up with active kids, bringing a positive, upbeat attitude to every shift and a genuine love for play-based learning.
• Reliable & Responsible: You are a creative problem-solver who takes your role seriously, shows up on time, and can always be counted on by our team and our campers.
