About the Role

Join our Early Childhood Leadership Team

Working closely under the direction of the General Manager – Early Childhood Services this role is focused on delivering key strategic initiatives and applying expert knowledge across a range of Services. Collaboration, influence and empowerment are critical skills that you will bring to this role, as you partner with Service Directors and work closely as part of the ECTARC Early Childhood Leadership Team. Collectively, our success lies with continuously improving upon the great service we provide.

Essential Criteria

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education recognised by ACECQA
  • NESA Early Childhood Teacher Accreditation
  • Current First Aid Qualification’
  • Approved Child Protection Statement of Attainment
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Current NSW Drivers License

Professional Qualities:

  • Proven ability to build and lead high performing teams
  • Demonstrated high level of ethical, professional behaviour including collaboration and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills – children, families, staff, key sector stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of current theories, practice, sector trends and legislation
  • A commitment to practicing ECTARC values every day
  • An advocate of Early Childhood Education
  • Strong commitment to your own professional learning
