About the Position
This position supports the Curriculum, Assessment, and Professional Learning (CAPL) sales and professional learning teams within Kaplan Early Learning Company. The ideal candidate provides administrative, process, implementation, and sales support to a growing team, and creates content for professional learning sessions. This role serves as the connection point for the team ensuring processes are documented, questions are answered, and materials are developed. Early Learning, Early Elementary, or Special Education Teachers, Coaches, and Administrators are the ideal candidates for this role.
Principal Accountabilities:
Provide CAPL team members with the product information they need to be successful.

Serve as the expert for multiple curriculum, assessment, and screening tools and support the CAPL sales and professional learning team in matching products to client needs.
- Develop content for sales materials, promotional emails, catalogs, articles, and websites.

Coordinate with the Kaplan marketing and design teams to update material as needed.

Create content for professional learning sessions under the director or VP of Professional Learning.
Support the professional learning team to ensure high quality face to face and online services are delivered on time and within budget.

Maintain the master training calendar.

Communicate training logistics with customers, internal team members, trainers, and/or venues.

Maintain a library of presenter agreements and customer contracts to ensure all contract obligations and payments are met.

Moderate virtual professional learning sessions, providing technical assistance as needed.

Update processes including background checks, training agreements, Hubspot, Zoom accounts, and other processes to ensure the team is staying current with system developments.

Create, conduct, and analyze post-training evaluation to facilitate evaluation and improvement of future training programs, collect customer testimonials, and track Net Promoter Score and other KPIs.

Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies for enhancing professional development programs based on data-driven insights.
Support sales processes for CAPL sales and professional learning staff.

Support the use of HubSpot by all team members to document sales inquiries, professional learning events, and implementation of products.

Join sales conversations to answer questions and support quote development.

Monitor sales data trends for CAPL products and support the CAPL Sales staff with sales data analysis, identifying potential leads based on sales data.
Education / Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree required in early childhood education, education or related field.

2-4 years of experience in early childhood education, focusing on developmentally appropriate curriculum, assessment, and professional learning products/services.

Classroom teaching or administrative experience in education is highly desirable.
Knowledge / Skills:
-
Strong familiarity with early childhood curriculum, assessment tools, and professional learning resources.

Solid understanding of the early learning industry, including classroom dynamics, educational programs, curricula, assessments, and current trends in education.

Experience with CRM solutions (e.g., HubSpot, PeopleSoft) is a plus.

Proficiency in various software applications, including Microsoft Office suite, Slack, Trello, and Outlook.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and delegate client inquiries effectively.

Superior writing, proofreading, and editing skills (writing sample required).

Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, cross-functional departments, and end-users.
