Early Childhood Educator-Preschool

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator-Preschool teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and developmentally appropriate play.
  • Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a nurturing environment by working closely with children to support their social-emotional development and promote positive behavior.
  • Conduct assessments using developmental milestones and early intervention strategies to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborate with families, specialists in special education, and childcare providers to support individual learning goals and ensure child welfare.
  • Manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining safety protocols in daycare or preschool settings.
  • Incorporate child welfare practices into daily routines, ensuring a secure environment that promotes physical activity, cognitive growth, and emotional well-being.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience in preschool or early childhood education settings is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
  • Experience working with children of various developmental stages including toddlers and those requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and literacy education methodologies such as Montessori or other child-centered approaches.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods for young learners.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
