Early Childhood Educator - Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to serve as a Preschool Teacher, inspiring young learners and fostering their growth in a nurturing, engaging environment. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development focused on literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
  • Engage with children through hands-on activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development, including toddler care and special education strategies when needed.
  • Assess individual student progress using standardized testing methods and provide tailored support for early intervention or additional tutoring as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children’s holistic growth, including those requiring extra support in behavior management or child welfare.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and classroom management logs to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Incorporate diverse teaching techniques such as Montessori or other pedagogical approaches to enhance learning experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and special education needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and promote inclusive learning environments.
  • Experience with classroom management tools and methods aligned with early childhood standards such as Montessori or other recognized frameworks.
