Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team as Head Start Teachers and Preschool Teachers. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills among children.
- Manage classroom activities effectively, utilizing classroom management techniques to support behavior management and child welfare.
- Conduct assessments of children's development using standardized testing tools and early intervention strategies to tailor instruction to individual needs.
- Collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists in special education to support children's holistic growth and address diverse learning needs.
- Prepare lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities, play-based learning, and age-appropriate instructional materials.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations in compliance with childcare regulations and program requirements.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; experience with toddlers is highly valued.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices.
- Experience developing curriculum content across various domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education environments.
- Background working with children who have special needs or require individualized support is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members.
