Early Childhood SPED Teacher

Job Overview

We are seeking an Early Childhood Special Education (SPED) Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support to young children with special needs. The candidate will use innovative teaching strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional growth in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for early childhood students with special needs.

- Deliver engaging instruction that meets each student’s unique learning profile.

- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to optimize student outcomes.

- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.

- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

- Master’s degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.

- Valid SPED certification for early childhood through the appropriate licensing authority.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching.

- Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for young learners.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with young children in school settings, particularly those with special needs.
