What You'll Do:

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom that supports each child's unique growth, and encourages respect for self, others, and the classroom
• Utilize our curriculum and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
• Support each child's toileting journey from diapers through becoming potty-trained
• Manage classroom activities and daily schedule (including naptime) effectively to ensure a productive and comforting environment
• Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and clear and fair expectations
• Communicate warmly with families and provide frequent updates/photos throughout the day
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain a consistent, caring school culture
• Ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and organized

This is a potty-training class, so you will be working alongside parents and helping each student on their way to becoming fully potty-trained.

Skills

• A love for working with children and a heart for teaching
• Previous experience in early childhood education (strongly preferred)
• CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related field (strongly preferred - if you are working towards one of these, we’d love to meet you!)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with children, parents, and our team effectively
• Dependability, flexibility, and a growth mindset
