Job Summary
The Waldorf School of Bend is seeking a Lead Early Childhood Teacher for our Toddler Program. This role centers on creating and sustaining a warm, safe, and nurturing Waldorf environment for our youngest children, ages 24–36 months. The Teacher works collaboratively within the Early Childhood program, which includes Toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten and is a part of our greater school community.
This position calls for a compassionate teacher who can guide and support an assistant, warmly welcome and onboard new families, and offer meaningful parent education. The ideal candidate brings both a deep respect for early childhood and a commitment to fostering a rhythmical, playbased, and relationship centered classroom inspired by Waldorf pedagogy.

QualificationsCandidates should demonstrate a genuine love for working with toddlers, a connection to Waldorf principles, the ability to build strong relationships with families, and a commitment to personal and professional growth and development. Additional training through Lifeways or a Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher certification program is highly valued, as is experience working with diverse populations.
All Applicants need to be registered in the Enrolled Central Background Registry, Current Food Handlers, Safe Sleep and First Aid CPR and minimum of Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development or Human Development
