Duties
- Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Facilitate engaging lessons and activities that promote curiosity, social skills, and early intervention strategies for children with diverse needs.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to create a safe, inclusive environment conducive to learning and play.
- Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing standards to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through clear communication about developmental milestones, classroom activities, and child welfare concerns.
- Incorporate specialized knowledge such as special education strategies and behavior management to support children with unique learning requirements.
- Maintain organized classroom environments that encourage independence, exploration, and respect for individual differences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development.
- Experience with toddlers care, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education activities.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods and experience integrating these approaches into daily lesson planning.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Background in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Certification or training in childhood development or early childhood education is preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged.
