We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as an Teacher in our toddler program. You will work closely to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will be essential in providing quality care and education to promote each child's development.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool-aged children.
- Support the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Provide individualized attention and guidance to meet the needs of each child.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Assist with record keeping, including tracking attendance, assessments, and observations.
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement engaging lessons that promote cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, diapering/toileting, and transitions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or Head Teacher Certificate.
