Overview
We are seeking caring and dedicated Early childhood Teachers to join our team! We are a growing childcare facility committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children 6weeks to preschool.
Our teachers play a vital role in fostering each child's growth through developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning through play exploration, and creativity. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and passionate about early education, with a genuine love for helping children reach their fullest potential.
As a member of our team, you'll work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a positive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.
Floater/Part time employees hours per week will range from 15 to 25 per week. Sometime more when needed.
Duties
- Provide a safe, clean and welcoming classroom environment.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain classroom discipline and promote positive interactions among students.
- Communicate effectively with families, co-workers, Director's and Administration.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns related to child welfare.
- Maintain required documentation and follow all state licensing regulations.
- Foster literacy education by incorporating reading and writing activities into daily lessons.
- Support routines such as meals, naps, potty training, and transitions throughout the day.
- Model positive behavior and encourage respect and kindness among children.
- Utilize Curriculums in class room daily.
- Ability to physically lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Participate in on going training, 12 hours annually.
- Going from room to room to assist teachers in daily duties
- Helping out in the facility as needed when not helping teachers
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Must be patient and organized.
- Ability to work as a part of a team and follow the center's daily routines and curriculum.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
