Early Education Support Teacher

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team, providing care and support to children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate love, patience, and respect for children while fostering their independence. Our program serves children ages 16 months to 6 years old. This position is working with children 3 old through 6 years. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about childhood development and eager to make a positive impact on young learners' lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher(s) in implementing educational activities.
• Provide individualized support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Engage with children in various activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and group discussions.
• Support caregiving tasks such as maintaining a clean classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
• Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for all children.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Possess high school diploma
• Meet all health requirements including TB tests, immunizations, and physical examinations.
• Experience working with children.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in early childhood education or caregiving is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Child Development Associate (CDA)
• Montessori Assistant Certification
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

Additional Information:

• Job Starts: Immediate
• Hours: Monday-Friday,
• Full time; all hours are between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
