We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team at Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership (EICAP) as an Early Head Start Preschool Teacher at our Idaho Falls Hoopes location. Together, we can provide high-quality educational services to children from birth to three years old, shaping their futures and empowering them to reach their full potential.

In this exciting role, you will embark on a rewarding journey of working closely with infants, toddlers, and their families. Your mission will be to create a supportive, safe, and enriched learning environment, ensuring a successful transition for these young minds into a preschool classroom.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a co-teacher to develop individual goals and group lessons, unleashing the full potential of each child.
Conduct ongoing assessments of progress, ensuring tailored adjustments that promote growth and development.
Foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere that actively involves and engages parents in their child's learning journey.
Regularly communicate with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child's educational experiences.
Maintain a pristine and nurturing learning environment that exceeds licensing and safety regulations.
Attend meetings and trainings, seize ongoing professional development opportunities, and expand your expertise.

Requirements:

High school diploma or Equivalency Degree (GED)
Ability to obtain the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with EICAP's guidance within 12 months of hire (EICAP covers the cost!)
Preferred Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
While experience with children aged 0-3 years is preferred, we welcome the right individual and offer comprehensive training.
Ability to become CPR and First Aid certified through EICAP's training program.
