Learn2Speak.net LLC is a home-health agency that specializes in Early Intervention Services for children birth-to-six years old. We travel to family's homes, daycares, and school-settings in order to serve our children and families.Learn2Speak is completely mobile, and we do not have a brick-and-mortar facility. We guide and coach parents and caregivers through weekly intervention sessions to help our patients achieve progress toward their milestones in: Communication, Motor Skills, Social/Emotional, Self-Help/ Adaptive, and Cognitive Skills.
Location and Scheduling
This is NOT a SUMMER ONLY POSTION. Currently, Learn2Speak is completely mobile, and we do not have a brick-and-mortar facility. This is a 1099 contract position that offers flexibility in scheduling. Applicants must be able to work upwards of 15 hours weekly with patients. You will have the opportunity to hand-select specific zip-codes or areas in which you would like to work.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist / Family Trainer to join our team providing services through South Carolina’s BabyNet Early Intervention Program. This position provides developmental intervention and family training services to infants and toddlers (birth to age three) with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. The Early Intervention Specialist works directly with families in their natural environments (home, childcare, and community settings) to support child development and coach caregivers on strategies to promote developmental skills within everyday routines. This role emphasizes family-centered coaching, developmental support, and collaboration with the child’s early intervention team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in early intervention or early childhood special education.
- Familiarity with South Carolina BabyNet policies and BRIDGES documentation system.
- Experience using developmental assessment tools such as the Carolina Curriculum or DP-4.
- Experience implementing coaching models in early intervention.
Minimum Required Qualifications (BabyNet Standards):
Candidates must meet the BabyNet Service Coordinator qualification requirements, which include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Social Work Psychology Sociology Early Childhood Education Special Education Child Development Family and Consumer Sciences Counseling Public Health Nursing Human Services or a closely related field OR Bachelor’s degree in another field plus at least one year of experience working with young children (birth–5) with developmental delays/disabilities and their families Additional requirements: Ability to complete and maintain all required South Carolina BabyNet training and credentialing Knowledge of early childhood development and family-centered early intervention practices Ability to pass required background checks Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to provide services in home and community settings Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities
- The Early Intervention Specialist provides developmental intervention and family training services. Services focus on supporting developmental progress through caregiver coaching and routine-based intervention. Responsibilities include: Provide developmental intervention and family training services to infants and toddlers enrolled in BabyNet. Implement strategies and supports identified in the child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Coach caregivers on how to embed developmental learning opportunities into daily routines such as play, meals, dressing, and community outings. Support child development across domains including communication, cognitive, motor, social-emotional, and adaptive/self-help skills. Monitor child progress toward IFSP outcomes and adjust strategies accordingly. Collaborate with Service Coordinators and other early intervention providers to ensure coordinated services. Participate in IFSP meetings, 6-month reviews, and team consultations. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the BabyNet BRIDGES and agency Ensora data system. Follow all BabyNet policies, procedures, and documentation requirements. Ensure services are delivered in natural environments and are family-centered and routine-based.
