Early Intervention Registered Behavior Technician

Position Overview

Join the Early Intervention (EI) team at Key Autism Services in Massachusetts as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT!) We're looking for caring professionals who are passionate about helping young children reach developmental milestones through high-quality ABA therapy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in morning hours and enjoys working closely with infants and toddlers in their natural settings.

For RBTs providing in-home sessions you are never working in isolation — our model centers on consistent clinical support from your supervising BCBA and our broader clinical team. You will receive weekly supervision, along with regular connection and check-ins to ensure sessions are going well between supervision visits. This ongoing support helps RBTs feel supported while maintaining high-quality care in the home.

Exciting Update: Key Autism Services is NOW serving the Down Syndrome community!

Job Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the BCBA, the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will:

  • Deliver individualized ABA therapy to children ages 5 and under in home-based or community settings

  • Implement developmentally appropriate teaching strategies through play and natural routines

  • Accurately collect and document data on goals and behaviors

  • Support families and collaborate with caregivers to generalize skills

  • Ensure therapy sessions are engaging, child-focused, and developmentally sensitive

  • Participate in regular supervision meetings, skills coaching, and case reviews with your BCBA

  • Communicate session updates and collaborate with your clinical team to ensure high-quality, consistent care

  • Structured onboarding and shadowing to ensure you feel confident before working independently

  • Clear session protocols, safety procedures, and step-by-step treatment guidance
