General responsibilities of the Early Intervention Specialist will be:
Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development, Early Childhood Special Education, Child and Family Studies, Speech and Language Pathology or related field. Preference will be given to those individuals with previous work experience with developmentally disabled preschool-aged children. Degree and qualifications must be approved by the Department of Education.
Position Requirements:
Complete all required TEIS and DDA training in a timely manner. Maintain certifications and complete refresher training annually. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Tennessee driver’s license in good standing, be insurable by the agency insurance company and have a dependable vehicle.
