Early Learning Team leader

Inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in young children! Kumon is looking for an Early Learning Team Leader to guide students in building strong foundations in math and reading while fostering independence and self-confidence.

We are seeking a dedicated Early Learning Team Leader to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children thrive through structured, individualized learning. In this role, you will guide students as they develop strong foundations in math and reading while building focus, independence, and self-confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with each student and support their individual learning journey
• Help young learners strengthen essential skills, improve concentration, and progress step by step
• Lead and support team members in delivering the Kumon Method with consistency and care
• Maintain an organized, welcoming classroom environment that encourages independence and confidence
• Observe student progress and tailor guidance to meet individual needs

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience working with young children in educational, tutoring, or childcare settings preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to guide and support a team while maintaining a structured learning environment
• Patience, organization, and attention to detail
• Commitment to fostering academic growth, independence, and confidence in young learners
• Ability to implement structured curriculum and maintain consistency in instruction
• Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality

Preferred (Optional):

• Experience with Kumon or similar individualized learning programs
• Early childhood education certification or related training
• Supervisory or classroom management experience

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
