Early Preschool Teacher (2s)

Early Preschool Teacher needed to join our team! This position is Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30 or 9:00 am-6:00pm working with 2 year olds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming classroom.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns, both verbally and in writing.
• Complete daily forms such as attendance, health checks, daily reports, and incident reports.
• Assist children with diapering/toileting, meal times, and clean-up.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and KAM policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Lead teacher must have at least two years of experince working in a licensed program. An associate degree in early childhood education or an equivalent combination of a non-ECE degree with 12 semester hours of ECE coursework.
• Assistant teacher must have at least one year of experience working in a licensed program. NC Early Childhood Credentials or equivalent are required.
• All applicants must have a current DCDEE Criminal Background Check Qualifying Letter, and TB test and physical exam within the past 12 months.
