About Us The Progress Center provides early intervention services for children from birth to age three
with developmental delays. Our team works closely with families in their homes and community
settings, supporting growth and helping every child reach their full potential.
Position Summary The Early Support Staff provides developmental support and parent coaching for
families with children ages birth to three. This role focuses on building strong relationships, promoting
positive family interactions, and helping caregivers integrate developmental strategies into daily
routines. You’ll manage a small caseload, allowing you to provide individualized attention and
meaningful support to each family as well as oversight of 5-6 ESS staff.
Qualifications Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Human
Development, or a related field.
Additional Requirements: - Knowledge of child development and family-centered practices. - Cultural
competence and strong communication skills. - Able to make, organize, and follow your own schedule.
- Team player, advocate, and compassionate professional who is trusting, personable, and
collaborative. - Quick learner and computer literate; comfortable using digital documentation and
communication tools. - Physically able to sit on the floor, climb stairs, and travel for home visits
throughout Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties. - Must have a personal vehicle suitable for local travel. -
Home visiting experience and Spanish proficiency highly desired - Must have the ability to supervise
others.
