Position: Early Years Homeroom Teacher
Job Summary:
The Early Years Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports the overall development of young learners. The teacher will deliver age-appropriate lessons, foster social and emotional growth, and encourage creativity, and independent learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress and maintain accurate records.
- Use creative teaching strategies, activities, and educational resources to enhance learning.
- Maintain effective classroom management and establish positive routines.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and wellbeing.
- Organize classroom displays, activities, and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all students at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field.
- Prior teaching experience in an Early Years setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for working with young children.
- Creativity, patience, and a caring attitude.
- Ability to integrate modern teaching techniques and educational technology into lessons.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience preferred.
