Position: Early Years Homeroom Teacher

Job Summary:
The Early Years Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports the overall development of young learners. The teacher will deliver age-appropriate lessons, foster social and emotional growth, and encourage creativity, and independent learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Use creative teaching strategies, activities, and educational resources to enhance learning.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and establish positive routines.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and wellbeing.
  • Organize classroom displays, activities, and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of all students at all times.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field.
  • Prior teaching experience in an Early Years setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for working with young children.
  • Creativity, patience, and a caring attitude.
  • Ability to integrate modern teaching techniques and educational technology into lessons.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience preferred.

Work Location: In person
