Job Description

BaRupOn LLC is an emerging energy and infrastructure development company currently working on large-scale projects in the United States, including a 450-megawatt power generation initiative and infrastructure innovation campus.

We are seeking a highly experienced earned-media publicist or former journalist who understands how to pitch compelling stories to national media outlets and secure editorial coverage.

Our goal is to elevate BaRupOn's visibility through strategic earned media placements in national publications and influential industry outlets.

This is a remote, fixed-price project with the possibility of ongoing collaboration if the partnership proves successful.

Important: Earned Media Experience Required

We are looking for someone who has successfully secured earned editorial coverage by pitching journalists and developing strong story angles.

This role is not for press-release distributors or paid placement services.

We are specifically interested in professionals who:

• Understand how journalists evaluate stories

• Know how to craft compelling editorial pitches

• Have relationships with reporters in business, energy, infrastructure, or financial media

Responsibilities

• Identify compelling news angles and narratives about BaRupOn

• Develop targeted media pitch strategies

• Pitch reporters and editors directly

• Secure earned editorial coverage

• Coordinate interviews and thought leadership opportunities

• Identify opportunities for exclusive stories and feature coverage

• Track and report media results

Ideal Candidate

We are especially interested in candidates who:

• Have worked as journalists, editors, or media producers, or

• Have years of earned media public relations experience

• Have experience with national media

Additional strengths include:

• Existing relationships with national reporters or editors

• Experience pitching stories related to energy, infrastructure, technology, or investment

• Ability to develop compelling narratives for complex projects

• Familiarity with media outreach tools such as Muck Rack, Cision, or Meltwater
