About the role
- Coordinate day-to-day earthworks activities, including bulk excavation, grading, haulage, and embankment works, in alignment with the approved construction plan
- Provide strong leadership and commitment to health, safety and environmental standards, supporting a positive safety culture across site teams and subcontractors
- Manage scope, cost, and schedule for assigned earthworks packages, ensuring change management processes are applied and documented
- Coordinate subcontractors and supplies, monitoring progress, quality and productivity, and escalating performance or resourcing issues as required
- Work closely with engineering and procurement teams to ensure design deliverables, quantities and construction requirements are clearly understood and aligned with site execution
- Track earthworks quantities, costs, and schedule performance, analysing trends and supporting forecasting activities
- Support interface management between earthworks, other construction disciplines, and operational stakeholders to minimize disruption and rework
About you
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or relevant discipline
- Strong experience working on EPCM projects within mining, construction or relevant industries with a focus on earthworks delivery
- Proven experience coordinating earthworks scopes in brownfield environments, including shutdowns and tie ins
- Experience supporting the management of contracts and significant value purchase orders from mobilisation to completion
- Solid technical and practical understanding of earthworks construction methodologies, quantities, and sequencing

Salary range
$60 - 90/hr
