ECCE Facilitator

Location: Assigned School / ECCE Centre of Districts (Karachi)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Classroom Delivery & Learning Environment

  • Conduct daily ECCE classroom sessions following play-based learning approaches, structured routines, and the ECCE curriculum provided by the coordinator.
  • Implement age-appropriate learning activities that support language development, early numeracy, creativity, motor skills, and socio-emotional learning.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, clean, and stimulating physical classroom environment conducive to early childhood learning.
  • Arrange and rotate classroom learning corners (e.g., literacy corner, numeracy corner, art area) to support child-led exploration.

Child Tracking & Assessment

  • Track daily attendance and maintain accurate registers for all enrolled children.
  • Monitor and document basic learning progress of each child using tools provided by the ECCE Coordinator.
  • Identify children with developmental concerns or learning difficulties and report to the ECCE Coordinator for appropriate follow-up.
  • Participate in child-level progress reviews with the ECCE Coordinator.

Community Engagement & Parental Involvement

  • Engage regularly with parents and community members to promote the value of ECCE and encourage continued enrolment and retention.
  • Conduct parent meetings, home visits (where appropriate), and awareness sessions on early childhood development.
  • Share children's progress with parents in a positive and constructive manner.

Safeguarding & Professional Development

  • Ensure child safeguarding and positive discipline practices are upheld at all times in the classroom and school environment.
  • Participate actively in all training, orientation, and capacity-building sessions organized by the ECCE Coordinator.
  • Follow all ECCE curriculum guidelines, teaching plans, and schedules provided by the coordinator.
  • Ensure full compliance with ITA's Code of Conduct, safeguarding, and PSEA policies.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc); Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching or working with young children (ages 3–6) in a school, centre, or community setting.
  • Understanding of play-based learning and child-centred teaching approaches.
  • Warm, patient, and nurturing disposition with strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in Urdu and Sindhi; basic English literacy preferred.
  • Commitment to child rights, safeguarding, and positive discipline.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
