About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Operations Executive to manage day-to-day online operations, streamline backend processes, and ensure smooth functioning across marketplaces and D2C platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with inventory/ order management tools, and excellent Excel knowledge.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Coordination
- Handle B2C logistics coordination, including order processing, courier allocation, tracking, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and returns (RTO/RTD).
- Monitor delays, escalate issues, and ensure seamless customer order flow.
Inventory & Software Management
- Manage inventory on inventory management software/tools.
- Update stock, track inward/outward movement, and maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
- Analyse inventory ageing, shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
Marketplace & Website Management
- Oversee order flow and daily operations across Shopify and major marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, etc.).
- Generate and analyse sales reports from Shopify & marketplaces.
- Assist in listing checks, pricing, promotions, and catalogue accuracy.
Data & Finance Reconciliation
- Perform payment, settlement & fee reconciliation for Shopify and all marketplaces.
- Identify mismatches in payouts, returns, and commissions.
- Maintain clean records for finance and audit support.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
- Track KPIs such as sales, order trends, dispatch performance, and courier TAT.
- Provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in e-commerce operations (marketplaces + D2C preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Familiarity with inventory/OMS software (Unicommerce, EasyEcom, Zoho, or similar).
- Good understanding of e-commerce processes—order lifecycle, returns, logistics, and reconciliations.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and strong at coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
- Experience in operations for FMCG, retail, lifestyle or D2C brands.
- Basic knowledge of Shopify admin panel.
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills.
