eCommerce Operations Specialist

Role Summary:

This role is the backbone of our day-to-day e-commerce operations. You’ll respond to customer questions, process orders across multiple platforms, and maintain clean, accurate records. You don’t need deep e-commerce experience to start - you do need strong attention to detail, comfort learning new systems, and pride in doing things right the first time.

As our ecommerce business continues to grow, we are looking for driven individuals to join our team and help support the daily operations that keep our online channels running smoothly. What you’ll do:

Customer Support (Phone + Written)

  • Respond to customer questions via email and phone with empathy, clarity, and accuracy
  • Guide customers through product questions, ordering, shipping updates, and installation support
  • Escalate issues appropriately and document outcomes clearly
  • Manage online reviews and monitor customer experience trends

Order Processing & Data Entry

  • Process and verify orders across channels (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair and other channels)
  • Update order records, addresses, and customer details with high accuracy
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure orders ship on time and exceptions are handled fast

Returns, Refunds, and Payments Support

  • Track returns/refunds/credits using internal logs and channel processes
  • Managing payments and accounts receivable
  • Basic reconciliation/reporting support

General Operations Support

  • Maintain internal trackers, templates, and documentation
  • Identify repeated issues and suggest improvements to reduce errors and processing inefficiencies

In this role, you will succeed if you have:

  • Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in transactional work and data entry
  • Experience with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and email tools (Outlook/Gmail)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a dependable “get it done” attitude
  • Clear communication skills that support timely, confident customer responses and documentation
  • A customer-first perspective with a focus on the overall customer experience
  • Initiative and sound judgment while balancing independent work with team collaboration
  • Comfort with structured, process-driven tasks in a growing small business environment

Skills we hope you will bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or related field is a plus)
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Order Management System, ShipStation

  • Annual salary range: $50,000 – $55,000, with opportunity to earn a performance-based bonus
