Position Overview
We are seeking educators with current experience in teaching Economics who possess native-level fluency in English and strong professional communication skills. In this role, you will support students by clarifying conceptual and numerical doubts in Physics and providing clear, step-by-step explanations through a chat-based platform.
Preference will be given to teachers experienced with international curricula, such as the International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge CAIE (IGCSE, A-Level), Advanced Placement (AP), or other globally recognized K–12 frameworks.
The ideal tutor is able to break down complex physical concepts, explain the reasoning behind formulas, and maintain a patient, encouraging, and student-focused approach in an online learning environment.
Key Ownership areas:
1. Maintain professional, welcoming, approachable, and patient communication while interacting with students.
2. Respond promptly and accurately to students' economics-related queries, identifying the core concepts and reasoning gaps behind each doubt.
3. Provide clear, well-structured, step-by-step explanations, using relevant real-world examples, diagrams, and data interpretation where applicable.
4. Engage in follow-up discussions to ensure students fully understand economic concepts, adapting explanations to their academic level and emotional state.
Other requirements
- Prior Economics teaching experience at the senior secondary or international curriculum level.
- Experience with IB, CAIE (IGCSE, A-Level), AP, or similar international curricula is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a professional, empathetic, and student-centric approach.
- Flexible availability, ideally 2 hours daily.
