Headquartered in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Metrix is currently expanding its operations to support the Colorado Department of Human Services’ Childcare Stimulus Grant Program.

What we’re looking for:

An Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECPC) Part-Time Specialist, up to 29 hours, to assist with reviewing and scoring ECPC and external training applications and submissions. Additionally, this role will support the implementation and expansion of the ECPC and external training programs at the Department of Early Childhood.

Responsibilities:

The ECPC Specialist reports directly to the Program Supervisor, but will work closely with other ECPC specialists, analysts, and program coordinators. The day-to-day responsibilities include processing credential forms and documents, conducting quality checks of submissions reviewed by other team members, and supporting the Program Supervisor in the development of best practices and standard operating procedures. The ECPC Specialists will work closely with the Department of Early Childhood and will work within their databases and systems. There may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities for the program and the organization for those interested in additional professional development.

Primary duties will include:

  • Review and score ECPC and external training applications and submissions
  • Effectively work with our client and coworkers to reduce the average application review time to 2 weeks or less
  • Achieve and maintain a standard of 95% accuracy when reviewing and scoring applications and submissions
  • Accurately enter and quality check data in the Department of Early Childhood’s PDIS Cornerstone and Salesforce systems
  • Collaborate with the Program Supervisor and Program Coordinators to develop standard operating procedures, best practices, and training resources to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team overall

Other potential projects – we are a small team which often results in employees being cross-trained to support other teams and projects:

  • Support the State-wide Early Childhood Stimulus grants program by answering provider questions, reviewing application data, and monitoring monthly reporting requirements
  • Support the Denver Preschool Program in reviewing family applications and helping them navigate the first year of Universal Pre-K

Qualifications:

  • Experience or relevant educational background in data processing or management
  • Comfortable with new technology, including databases or computer applications. We use CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and other platforms. If you don’t have experience with our specific systems, that’s okay, we are looking for someone who feels confident to learn!
  • Experience working with different forms of communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Chat
  • Capable of working from home and in-office - Ability to travel to and from office as needed
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.

Bonus points for the following experiences or skills, but these are not required!

  • Experience managing and working with a CRM system, such as SalesForce or SugarCRM.
  • Experience or interest in government or nonprofit program administration
  • Experience or interest in grant management

MetrixIQ offers a hybrid work schedule – staff work a mixed schedule of in-office and remote days. Flexibility is available. Must be located in Colorado (statewide). Travel may be expected to our office in Denver for team meetings.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
