The Patient Care Technician functions as a member of the health care team assisting with patient care based on an individual patient’s needs. The Patient Care Technician operates under the direct supervision of the registered nurse.

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. C N A, Medical Assistant, one year of nursing school or pre hospital rescue experience. Medical terminology course (preferable). BLS certification through AHA required. Current EMT certification (preferable).
