This role is currently based at our Minneapolis office and will transition to our new headquarters in Dayton, MN, in 2027.
The Intermediate EDI Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of Graco’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capabilities across customers, suppliers, and logistics partners. This position serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for EDI standards, business processes, and automation, and plays a critical role in ensuring reliable, scalable, and compliant transaction flows that support order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and supply chain operations.
What You Will Do at Graco:
EDI Technical & Functional Leadership
Serve as the SME for EDI standards and transaction sets for one or more of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and industry-specific implementation guides.
Lead analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support of EDI integrations supporting core business processes such as Order Management, Logistics, Invoicing, Payments, and Procurement .
Design and maintain EDI mappings, partner profiles, validation rules, acknowledgements, and exception-handling workflows using enterprise EDI platforms.
Own complex EDI issues end-to-end, including root cause analysis, remediation, and preventive controls.
Drive automation by minimizing manual intervention and improving data quality and transaction reliability.
Support integration between EDI and ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle EBS), APIs, middleware, and cloud-based systems.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Sales Operations, and IT to understand upstream and downstream business processes and ensure EDI solutions align with operational needs.
Onboard new trading partners, including requirements analysis, testing coordination, and go-live readiness.
Coordinate with external trading partners, VANs, and service providers to resolve issues, manage changes, and ensure SLA adherence.
What You Will Bring to Graco:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
3+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background EDI standards (ANSI X12 or EDIFACT).
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of order-to-cash and supply chain business processes in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Experience working with EDI platforms, translators, or managed service providers.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Accelerators:
Experience in integrating EDI with Oracle EBS or other ERP systems.
Familiarity with iPaaS, middleware, APIs, and event-based integrations alongside traditional EDI.
Experience with cloud-based EDI platforms and modern integration architectures.
Exposure to automation, AI-assisted document processing, or exception management in EDI or B2B integrations.
Experience supporting global trading partners and multi-region EDI implementations.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
