Key Accountabilities

The EDI Analyst is the focal point for all EDI partner and vendor communications. Works with EDI vendors, customers and Warehouses. Responsible for partner creation, testing, maintenance and follow up. The EDI Analyst also manages all EDI data transmissions daily.

Responsibilities

• Key EDI contact for vendors, customers and 3PL warehouses
• Interface with SPS Commerce and DMEDI on a daily basis
• Review data transmissions and fix daily issues
• Update certificates (AS2, SFTP and VAN)
• Work with EDI vendor to Onboard new vendors / Customers
• Work with Dynamics 365 staff / EDI on issues
• Interface with 3PL warehouse on transfers, orders, ASNs, etc.
• Special EDI projects per customer / vendor
• Assist customer service or other departments with EDI orders, invoices, ASN and other
• Understand business processes that are supported by EDI
• Prevent vendor / customer charge backs for incorrect data delivery
• Assist with D365 support as secondary point of contact
• Work with our current Microsoft partner as needed
• Test and generate new EDI connections for new 3PLs with SPS
• EDI Regression Testing for D365 upgrades
• Testing new D365 processes if EDI related
• Investigate any discrepancies in transfers and sales orders
• Work with SPS and end users to improve logic in current maps for Trading Partners and 3PLs
• Work with 3PLs to generate SSCC pallet labels for certain customers
• Make map changes if TPs are doing off invoice discounts for the first time
• Edit EDI XML files when needed
• Make inventory adjustments as needed to fix D365 errors for Transfers
• DMEDI Upgrades

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• At least 2 years of EDI experience required
• Experience with EDI partners is required
• Experience SPS and DMEDI is required
• Understanding of shipping process is required.
• Working knowledge of EDI formats XML and AS2 required
• Full understanding of EDI forms (850, 855, 856, 997, 810, 867, etc.) required
• Full knowledge of 3PL forms (846, 856, 940, 943, 944, 945, 946, etc.) required
• Must be able to understand company process and apply them to EDI processes
• Must have good communication (Oral and written) skills
• Working knowledge of EDI mapping is required
• Working knowledge of MS SQL a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics required

Food Safety/Quality

• Report any issues regarding food safety or quality to supervision and/or quality assurance.
• Report any risks or any evidence of unsafe or out-of-specification product, equipment, packaging or raw materials to a designated manager to enable the resolution of issues requiring immediate attention.
